At Freedom House Australia, we’re equipping and empowering a community of believers to fulfil their calling to go into all the world to reveal the life and teaching of Jesus and the Gospel of the Kingdom of heaven.

Following in the Isaiah 61 mandate and the Matthew 28:18 Commission given to the church, we believe those who follow Jesus are equipped to do similar things Jesus did and to bring the potential for transformation and God’s freedom into every sphere of society we have been called to influence.

We believe Jesus invited us into relationship with Him through our salvation.

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me- watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn how to live freely and lightly.

Our Vision

We want to bring multiple generations into a clear understanding of their salvation and relationship with the Father in union with Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We give expression to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, and manifest them in every area of our lives as an expression of the future-present Kingdom of heaven. This enables us to fulfil our vocation from the foundation of our identity as God’s family on earth and the Spirit of adoption into every sphere of influence God has called us to influence.

Our desire is for a community of faith-filled, free, empowered and responsible believers growing in spiritual maturity as influencers, fully equipped and established in their union with Christ to fulfil everything that God has prepared for them to do to magnify and glorify His name.

Who We Are

Freedom House Australia is a community of Spirit-filled believers who believe in the whole counsel of scripture. We believe the Word and Spirit of God work together to reveal the truth, grace and wisdom of God.

We are primarily an equipping community who highly value our genuine expression of Jesus-centred worship, plunging into the depths of the Word in context, and Spirit-filled and empowered works that give expression to our faith.

Freedom House Australia and Freedom House Global are founded by Paul Tothill. These works were birthed in a vision to see the “bride of Christ”, the church, come into maturity and God’s mission by building on the foundations of the apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ as the cornerstone.

Paul was the senior leader at Gateway Church in South Australia for 15 years. He has extensive experience in building into charismatic evangelical churches in many parts of the world and Australia through teaching and demonstrating the Gospel of the Kingdom.
